Joe Kozak began his insurance career in 1974 as a file clerk when he started working for his father, Wayne Kozak, in his State Farm Agency. He continued to educate himself and was given more responsibilities.
In 1982, Joe was promoted to the office manager and later became licensed to sell both Fire and Casualty & Life insurance in the state of California. He continued to work with his father until Wayne retired in February 1998. At that time, Joe became an Independent Agent and started Kozak Insurance Agency to provide the policyholders with a greater selection of insurance carriers while working with one agent.
While making the transition to an Independent Agent and starting his agency, Joe says, "Kozak Insurance Agency is based on the same philosophy as that of my father, Wayne Kozak, during his four decades as a State Farm Agent; that is to offer Superior Protection at Affordable Prices while providing the policyholder with the best possible service." In keeping with Wayne's tradition, Joe's goal is to develop a long-term relationship with his policyholders by being honest, low pressured, and not selling them more than they need.
